Planning to Progress – Argyll & Bute

Resourcing Scotland's Heritage were lucky enough to visit Oban on a sparkling sunny Autumn day for Planning to Progress training. The mood of the room matched the weather, with engaged participants learning how to pitch their project to prospective funders and, most importantly, to have a strong, strategic, fundraising strategy - so they can best direct their energies and resources.   Training was delivered by project partners Greenspace Scotland and Peter Thierfeld with attendees from South Kintyre Development Trust, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, and the Oban Communities Trust. Summer Training Events

The Resourcing Scotland's Heritage programme has been delivering fundraising training events throughout the summer. In May events took place in Edinburgh, West Lothian and Glasgow.  Pictured here is the group of participants from the 'In Focus: Legacies' session held at the fantastic Glasgow Women's Library. The programme has also started to deliver a workshop series featuring 2-hour long bite-sized training sessions which have taken place in June and July.
