Make it Happen Glasgow!
Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage is back with a new programme for 2015-16. The first event ‘Make it Happen’, an introduction to fundraising from private sources, took place in Glasgow on Friday 22nd May 2015.
The 11 participants came from a variety of heritage organisations, both large and small, including the National Trust for Scotland, Friends of Possilpark Greenspace, the Gorbals Healthy Living Network and Kilmartin House Museum.
The Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage trainers Pam Judson and Peter Thierfeldt led the session which explored developing a case for support and how to approach making the ask from individuals, businesses and private trusts & foundations.
Comments from the participants included:
“Really excellent – informative and relaxed.”
“Great presentation style from both (trainers). Felt relaxed and felt I could ask questions without fear.”

Further ‘Make it Happen’ events are taking place in Edinburgh, Inverness, Dundee and the Orkney Islands from June to September 2015. To book your place, please visit the Training & Events pages.
